The rack frame is manufactured in Orange, California alongside SKB iSeries cases and fits securely inside the case with high-quality PE foam protection. The foam interior provides clearance for protruding knobs, buttons, switches, and connectors, helping protect delicate electronics without requiring unnecessary disassembly.
At less than half the weight of many traditional shock racks, this Fly Rack is an excellent option for flying or shipping valuable equipment. Its case design stays under 62 linear inches to help avoid oversized baggage classifications, while in-line wheels and a push-button pull handle make transport easier.
The injection molded case is built from ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and features a gasket-sealed waterproof and dust-tight design. Additional protection includes molded-in hinges, Trigger Latch® system, automatic pressure equalization valve, rubber over-molded cushion grip handles, and resistance to UV, solvents, corrosion, fungus, and impact damage.
